This is the all-time of the Junie B. Jones books that I take read then far. This one is more conceivable than the others. Sure, I tin believe a petty kid could get obsessed with cutting hair and disobey her parents and chop up her own hair. Although why Junie B'southward parents were dumb enough to trust her with regular scissors and not become her the special kindergarten kind that only cut paper, I will never know.Something that bothers me near Junie B. is that she acts in a really obnoxious way, and so she gets a special treat. For case in this volume, afterward cut the dog's fur and having her scissors taken away from her and her parents telling her no more hair cut, she chops up her own pilus. Do her parents make her live with the consequences? No, they have her right off to the dazzler store and she gets a fabulous new hair cutting! Hmmmph! Junie B. better be glad I'm non her female parent, because Mamma Guidry does non take any extra coin for pilus cuts for kids who butcher their own hair later they accept been told NO!

Junie is a crazy, outgoing, six year old kindergartner who loves to speak her mind. She says what she wants to and she acts whatever she feels like it. Sometimes she gets carried away and does earlier she acts. When she cuts her pilus in the book she feels actually upset subsequently she sees the stop result. When that happened she felt scared of what the kids at school were going to think.
I would recommend this book to elementary students. I would do that considering its their age level and the main character could be the same age as the reader. They could really feel reminded what they could deed like. They would probably like this series a lot because they could connected with the primary character. I would rate this volume a iii out of 5 stars because I liked it a lot and it was a very easy book to read.

The Junie B. Jones series could be about any kindergartner, they always depict real life situations that children get themselves into. This was about cutting hair reminded me personally of some of my students at the later school plan, because we do have a kindergartner whose mother is a barber and she has tried to evidence her own "skills" on some other student. Luckily that situation did not turn out as bad equally Junie B.'s. I think the illustrations are placed at very good moments in the story and provide a great visual to those moments. The illustrations show Junie B. interacting with many different characters, usually all in a different mode, from trying to hide her dog Tickles to yelling at her granddaddy through her bedroom door. Junie B. is a very blithe character and the illustrations show this very well, even though they are just done in black and white.
I would practise this book as a read aloud, maybe to introduce my form to the series or do the whole serial throughout the school twelvemonth with my class. I would utilise with grades kindergartner (since Junie B. is one) to second class. This serial is easy to read and would make a great first affiliate and series books for students to become into. ...more than

This went down every bit i of the wildest and most hilarious Junie B books. There is also the subtle implication of a possible thing between her Dad and "beauty shop guy" Maxine was artfully penned and had me yearning for an erotic spin-off volume featuring Mr. Jones (with his shirt off like many of the books I come across on this site) on the encompass and the seductive Maxine lusting afterward him. Oh the chapter when Grandpa Frank Miller learns of the infidelity...One complaint was the dream of Junie B to be a dazzler shop "guy". Maxine is a adult female and to refer to the position in male terms was off-putting for a character that should be setting more of an example to niggling girls.
But this i was Junie at her nearly mischievous. A lesson was learned...or was information technology? And how many pairs of scissors does this child take in her room?

I gave this book a three out of 5 stars, because information technology was a funny and easy to read volume. I recollect that this book is one of my favorite Junie B Jones books, because I could relate to it. Simply like Junie, I went through a stage where I really liked cutting things. I think that a lot of kids would enjoy this book.
Plot:
When Junie had decided that she wanted to become a hairstylist, she found a lot of ways to practice. First, she used her stuffed animals and she realized their hair would non grow back. Then, Junie made her dog's fur await and so bad she hid all of the hair she cut off under her bed. When her mom found the pile of hair, she was really mad at Junie and took her scissors abroad from her. Junie had a secret hidden pair of scissors her mom didn't know virtually, and she gave herself a really bad haircut. The next morning, Junie's granddad had to scout her, considering her parents went out of town. Junie needed to cover up her pilus somehow, so she put on a big hat to wear to school. When Junie's gramps wanted her to take off the hat, she told him it was crazy hat day. Junie's dad found out about her bad haircut, and then they went back to the salon to make Junie wait normal once again.
Characterization:
The master grapheme in this book is a showtime class girl whose proper name is Junie B. Jones. Junie is a very energetic kid that always wants it her way. Throughout the book, Junie is very energetic and lively. Towards the end she is scared, because she doesn't want her mom to find out virtually the pilus she cutting. Another character is Junie'southward mom who was mad at Junie through the whole book. She was an important character, because she fabricated Junie cease cutting hair.
Setting:
This book takes place in Junie'southward town and at Junie'southward schoolhouse. This book takes place in modern times considering Junie rides a coach to schoolhouse and Junie's parents bulldoze her to the pilus salon. This is important because if Junie does non go her haircut she wouldn't want to become a hairstylist.
Recommendation:
I would recommend this book to anyone in first through fifth grade. I think that these ages are good because this volume is the reading level for those grades. Kids that historic period could possibly be going through the cutting stage too and they could learn that it could end badly if they cut their own hair. I recollect that boys and girls would both similar this book because information technology is funny and relatable.

PERSONAL RESPONSE: I did not really savour this book very much. I could not chronicle to the characters very well because they were so much younger than me. Also, the characters kind of annoyed me.PLOT: Subsequently going to the beauty shop with her dad, Junie decided that her dream was to work at one. Junie realized that if she had non cut her own hair, she would not have gotten her new haircut. She was very happy with her pilus.
CHARACTERIZATION: Junie was a very immature, naive little girl throughout the whole volume. She did not listen to her parents, and she always did things she was not suppose to be doing. She never took anything seriously.
IMPACTS OF SETTING: The setting of this book took place mainly in the beauty shop. This book took place during the schoolhouse year. Junie went to the dazzler shop later schoolhouse with her father. This was important because this is where Junie realized that her dream was to become a beautician. If she had non been in the dazzler store, she never would have realized that she wanted to pursue that dream.
RECOMMENDATION: I would recommend this volume to any student in elementary school. I recollect that this was a great book that taught them to never do something they are non suppose to exercise. Barbara Park's "Junie B. Jones" series consists of nigh cleverly written affiliate books about the adventures of simple-aged Junie. In this item book, Junie gets herself into a bit of trouble after being inspired by her hairdresser. This work of contemporary realistic fiction is a dainty, fun read for children who are kickoff to read chapter books.Park does a astounding chore with the characterization of Junie. I remember reading this series as a kid and loving information technology because of how relatable the character of Junie was. Park fifty-fifty modifies the diction to match that of a young child, for example referring to Junie's teacher every bit "Mrs.".
In addition to the wonderful characterization, this volume is a nifty read considering of the plot. I remember loving this book in item because as a child who had cutting my own hair, I constitute the plot funny and interesting.
Park too does an amazing chore at illustrating the setting. Her brilliant descriptions allow for readers to transport to Junie's dwelling house and school to witness her adventures.
After reading this book, I uncovered that book has a theme of independence. I think this theme can definitely assistance my developing readers considering it encourages them to inquire for assistance and lets them know that it is okay to non be completely contained.
Parks' writing style is definitely appropriate for readers, every bit the vocabulary utilized in her series challenges readers to learn new words and read for deeper meaning in society to sympathize the humor. Parks' fashion is appealing for young readers, because Junie uses syntax and wording that is very similar to that of elementary anile students.
And finally, Parks' books all take identify in the kickoff person point of view of Junie. In doing this, I think Parks is enhancing her books considering she is able to ameliorate tell the story from the perspective of a child.

We are presenting them with broken grammer and no concept of why it is broken like that. Information technology isn't just in the dialogue, simply is throughout the book. How am I supposed to convince a kid that they should learn to use proper language when this is what they are reading and given to read in class no less.
